Frequently asked questions
Is the client safe to download?
Yes. All mirrors host the same verified archive. We recommend scanning with your antivirus before running — some tools flag private server clients due to custom .dll files.
Do I need the original game installed?
No. Our client is standalone and fully self-contained. You do not need the original Forsaken World from any platform.
The patcher gets stuck. What should I do?
Ensure your antivirus or firewall is not blocking FW_Wizard.exe. Try running as Administrator (right-click → Run as administrator). If it persists, contact our support Discord.
Can I play on a laptop?
Yes, as long as you meet the minimum requirements. For laptops with both integrated and dedicated GPU, assign FW_Wizard.exe to the dedicated card in your graphics control panel.
How large are the game updates?
Incremental patches are usually under 50 MB. Major content updates are announced in the news section a week in advance with estimated download sizes.
